«Blau» to celebrate ESMUC 15th aniversary by ESMUC Symphonic Orchestra and Lorenzo Ferrándiz, dir.

I-2017 / On January 29th 2017 the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya – ESMUC celebrated its 15th aniversay with a concert in Auditori performed by the ESMUC Symphonic Orchestra & Lorenzo Ferrándiz, dir. The program pretended to cover the diversity of disciplines offered by ESMUC. Vivancos «Blau» represented the field of classic and contemporary composition.

XII-2016 / On Barcelona Cathedral Christmas Eve Mass the traditional «Cant de la Sibil·la» (El jorn del judici») was performed by the Cor Francesc Valls, directed by Pere Lluís Biosca.

XII-2016 / «La nit de Bernat Vivancos», World premiere of «Cançons nocturnes», 12 compositions with text by Catalan poets and 12 clarinet interludes. Performed by Cor Infantil Amics de la Unió (Josep Vila i Jover, dir.), String Orchestra of Granollers (Corrado Bolsi, dir.), Teresa Noguerón, clarinet, and David Pintó, stage director. The concert was conducted by Edmon Colomer in the Teatre Auditori de Granollers.

New CD with Escolania de Montserrat «Música Espiritual Contemporània»

XI-2016 / «Ave Maria Shubert/Vivancos» is included in the new CD of Escolania de Montserrat devoted to Spiritual Contemporary Music, edited by Institut Art i Espiritualitat Sean Scully. The CD includes also works by György Deák-Bárdos, Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Arvo Pärt.

«O Gloriosa Virginum Sublimis inter sidera» – World Premiere in Sant Pol de Mar

VII-2015 / Oriol Romaní, clarinetist,  performs the World Premiere of «O Gloriosa Virginum Sublimis inter sidera» on July 30th in the small church Ermita de Sant Pau in Sant Pol de Mar (Spain) . This concert takes place within the   “Concerts d’estiu” Festival. The work is a commission by Ajuntament de Sant Pol de Mar.

«Cant dels ocells» on tour in Spain and Slovenia

V-2015 / Cor de Noies de l’Orfeó Català conducted by Pere Lluís Biosca performs «Cant del ocells» (2006) on May 17th in Auditori Badarres, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Spain); on May 23th in Palau de la Música, Barcelona (Spain) and on July 2nd in Ljubljana  (Slovenia) within the 27th International Festival Summer in Old Ljubljana Town.

«O Lux Beata» – World Premiere in Barcelona

V-2015 / Barcelona (Spain) Escolania de Montserrat conducted by Llorenç Castelló performs the World Premiere of  «O Lux Beata» (2015) along with «Fundamenta eius» (2011) and Salve Regina (1998) on May 15th in Palau de la Música Catalana, Barcelona (Spain) within the Cicle Coral de l’Orfeó Català Season. On May 29th Escolania performs the same program  29.05.2015 in Tarragona Cathedral, Tarragona (Spain).
